Disney Oct 2010

I am finally getting around to posting about our Disney trip we took in October, lol. With all that has been going on, finding free time (Laughing at the thought) to blog has not been possible... so here are the pictures and the 411 on the MARVELOUS trip we took.

Day #1-
the trip down and arrival...
Daughter #2 on the way to Florida watching a movie. They are both excellent on road trips! (Even without technology...though it helps when the boredom kicks in.)

Of course on the way into Florida we had to stop at the welcome center and grab some delicious, and don't forget free, fresh squeezed O.J. YUM! (I am, by choice lol, the typical photographer... so I am rarely in the pictures.)

We couldn't resist the photo-op...Say CHEEEEEEESE! : D

Here are both girls at the welcome center having fun.

We finally arrived! So happy to be out of the car! :)
The house was beautiful!

The girls loved the pool!

The private house I booked us had it all! 4 BDRMS, 3 Full baths, HUGE game room with a pool table, air hockey, table soccer and a dart board, private pool, home alarm, pool alarm...etc. All only 8 minutes from Disney! The house was perfect, and the price couldn't be beat!!!

Day # 2-
After a good nights sleep we went looking for the world's largest McDonalds... it was like a Chuck E Cheese inside a McDonald's with a bakery! WOW! We didn't stay to eat though bc it was a mad house with a bday party going on. Still cool to walk around and see it.
World's biggest McDonald's!!!
After having lunch, can't remember where we decided to go lol, we went to downtown Disney and shopped and took tons of photos... many do not need captions so here they go...

Trying to get that sword out of the stone.

Daughter #2 was unsure about Daddy putting her up so high, lol.

All 3 of my goofy kids!

Every year when we have visited Florida we have had our picture taken with this pirate...it has become tradition!
Lego dragon...cool huh?

Again with the heights, Daddy?

More pulling...almost got it... LOL.

I love this picture of the girls on the Merry Go Round!

Day #3-
This was our girls first time going to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. Jason and I were almost as excited as they were!

Meeting Mickey and Minnie was a big highlight!

Inside Minnie's house

My baby girl made a friend at the electrical parade.

Playing hop scotch while waiting on the parade to start.

Tink is one of our faves!!!

The electrical parade is so beautiful!

Pete's Dragon was one of my childhood favorites and one of the girls favorites as well!

Cinderella's castle looks so pretty lit up at night!

AMAZING!

We can't wait to go back!

Day #4-
Visiting Aunt Sue and Uncle Bobby at Ft. Wilderness... It was wonderful! We watched Beauty and the Beast under the stars while roasting marshmellows at the campfire... FUN!

Aunt Sue and Uncle Bobby's R.V.
The adorable, personalized, mickey ears Sue and Bobby got the girls.

The private beach at the resort was so nice... a bit cold for more than sticking your toes in though.

They loved meeting Chip and Dale at the camp fire!

Day #5- Animal Kingdom!

Uncle Bobby and Aunt Sue came with us to Animal Kingdom... :)

We loved spending so much time with them, not to mention so many of the girls firsts with them.

We took advantage of the stroller rental... Sometimes the little ones need a break... Mommy, Daddy and aunt Cole could have used one too, lol. We still had blisters from Magic Kingdom.
Sweet baby girls had a blast!

The safari was our favorite... here are some pics...

Inside the tree of life...LOVE IT!

Look way in the back... see the white mountain...that is Mt. Everest... A huge, very scary roller coaster that my brave little 6 yr old rode with me! Her Aunt Cole was so motion sick after one ride she wouldn't ride it again... it was really intense! I managed to talk Jason into riding it with me again but not a 3rd time... SHUCKS! Lol

Day # 6-
Our last day of sight seeing in Florida we went to Cocoa Beach... our favorite beach! You can't go to Florida without seeing the ocean and eating at the pier!

This picture is also a tradition :). Taken at the Cocoa Beach Pier.

My poor baby lost her balance when this small wave swept over her feet... this was the last time she got this close to the water.
AWWWW... Daddy and daughter #1 playing in the ocean... She loves the water!!
